Can you believe that it’s Eva’s first time in a merry go round?
I thought that since she was awfully good today – I didn’t scream at her or felt like strangling her (figuratively speaking) – and she took her nap when she was supposed to take it, we would go out after her afternoon nap. The weather was very nice – as you can see in the video. She went bonkers when she saw that the merry go round was open so after a few minutes of staring at the other kids, I thought what the heck, lets have some fun and let Eva have a ride. I paid €2 for the ride and at the end of it, I got a happy kid. Pretty fair trade, if you ask me.
All in all, a good day.

That’s Eva enjoying some milky maple strawberry oatmeal for breakfast. It’s a quick fix and can be whipped up in under five minutes. Recipe to come soon but meanwhile, enjoy the video!

This isn’t really a recent video – it was taken some time before Christmas last year. Eva was 28 mths then and as you can see, she is crazy about singing! That is my father-in-law on the phone with her.
Here is another video taken around the same time.

My daughter loves playing masak-masak or cooking – she can cook with just about any gadget and even turn food into mush by smashing it with a fork or spoon, thinking that the bowl is a pan and whatever that’s in it fair game for the pretend cooking session.
Now she has an audience and a guinea pig in the form of her little brother – under supervision, that is. A sign that she enjoys having other kids around. I just pray that this continues on as she grows older but in the meantime, here’s a video for your enjoyment!

It’s evident – Eva loves playing the big sister!

It’s now a big thing in Eva’s life – pretending that certain things are things she sees in every day life. From changing diapers to pumping milk and vacuuming the floor, it would appear that our little girl has a very big imagination! Not that I’m complaining…my friends even suggested that it’s a sign that she might just do great with the housechores in the future! Kekekekeke.
